The surgery of glaucoma can be focussed on the structures to obtain a very high success rate and low complication rate. These structures are :
- 1.
- The trabecular meshwork
- 2.
- The Canal of Schlemn
- 3.
- The collector channels
Further to this early recognition and intervention will result in the reality that the disease may be halted and or cured in a very high percentage of cases. More importantly this possibility of cure can be managed across the entire spectrum of glaucoma. To this end results and techniques spanning 23 years will be discussed and extensively demonstrated by means of high definition video.
