The workshop will present more detail on the five key activities of the Human Behaviour-Change Project (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/human-behaviour-change):
- 1.
- Develop an ontology (structure for organising knowledge) of features of behaviour change intervention evaluations using a consensus process with international experts to,
- 2.
- Annotate published literature using the ontology,
- 3.
- Build an automated feature extraction system,
- 4.
- Build a Machine Learning and Reasoning system to synthesise the evidence,
- 5.
- Develop an interactive user interface to interrogate and update the knowledge system created.
The workshop will:
- provide participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the overall vision and strategy as well as the component parts of the project,
- explain the role of, and iterations between, behavioural science, computer science and information science in developing the Behaviour Change Ontology and Artificial Intelligence System, and
- outline how the research community can become involved and updated.
